In compliance with the new Royal Mail guidelines, the 'If Undelivered' address can also be pre-printed. Royal Mail format PRE-PAID or FREEPOST Business reply envelopes also supplied for better mailing response.
Flexo Printing
The most cost effective process for long runs, as this can be carried out as part of the envelope manufacturing process. Printing is done from rubber or plastic stereo's on a web fed press using liquid inks. Inks are dye based and therefore transparent.
Litho PrintingWith this method of printing, the ink is transferred from the image plate to a blanket and then to the envelope. The printing part of the plate surface is treated to receive and transmit ink to the paper, the non-printing surface is treated to attract water and so rejects ink from the ink roller, which touches the whole surface. The ink is opaque.
